I am a social worker and the Accessibility Experiential Learning Coordinator in the Career & Experiential Learning at Thompson Rivers University. I am passionate about workplace equity and, as a bi-racial person of colour living with ADHD, approach my work from an anti-oppressive intersectional lens.

In my experience, one of the most common concerns that people with disabilities have in the workplace is related to disclosure and accommodations. The following modules contain answers to 4 key questions aimed at addressing these concerns.

Module 1 – What is a disability? – Explore how you define and experience disability.
Module 2 – Should I disclose? – Things consider before you choose to disclose a disability.
Module 3 – When and how should I disclose? – Tips for when and how to disclose a disability.
Module 4 – What if I need accommodations? – Legal aspects and how to request accommodations.

I hope you enjoy these videos and I welcome your feedback.
